Los Angeles, CA, September 22, 2011 – Over the past decade attorney Jacob Stein has represented over one thousand clients seeking to protect their assets from claims of creditors. During the same time Mr. Stein taught several hundred seminars, educating thousands of lawyers and accountants on how to properly protect their clients’ assets, and published numerous scholarly articles.
He has now combined his rich practical experience and expansive theoretical knowledge to publish the first-ever legal treatise on asset protection planning specific to California. The treatise titled “A Lawyer’s Guide to Asset Protection Planning in California” was published on September 15, 2011. With over 270 pages of in-depth legal analysis, summary of relevant cases and statutes and a practical approach to planning this is a must have desktop reference guide for every California lawyer and a must have treatise for every law library.

About Jacob Stein
Mr. Stein is a partner with the law firm Klueger and Stein, LLP, in Los Angeles, California. His law practice is limited to asset protection planning and sophisticated international tax planning.
Mr. Stein received his law degree from the University of Southern California, and his Master’s of Law in Taxation from Georgetown University. Mr. Stein has been accredited by the State Bar of California as a Certified Tax Law Specialist and is AV-rated (highest possible rating) by Martindale-Hubbell.
He is the author of numerous articles and technical manuals on asset protection planning and advanced tax planning, and is an instructor with the California CPA Education Foundation, Thomson Reuters, the Rossdale Group and many others. He is an adjunct professor of taxation at the CSU, Northridge Graduate Tax Program.
